When we meet someone new we usually drum up a conversation by asking, “Where do you live?” People tell us about
their neighbourhoods; what they like and what they are proud of. Managing shared public space is complicated and
in a large urban centre such as Etobicoke, many people are involved in the day-to-day operations of maintaining
and beautifying our streets, parks and sidewalks.
