Montgomery’s Inn Farmers Market open every Wednesday, to support participating farmers and small businesses, while offering access to healthy, local foods for the surrounding Etobicoke Centre/Etobicoke Lakeshore community, including vulnerable populations who could benefit from a safe, outdoor setting for food shopping.

Opening hours: Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Location:

The weekly market will be located on the grassy area adjacent to the parking Lot Montgomery’s Inn (4709 Dundas st w., corner of Montgomery rd & Dundas W). This outdoor season runs until October 28, 2020.

Non-medical Face Masks and Face Coverings. Customers are asked to wear a non-medical mask or face covering when attending the market. Entry Screening & Physical Distancing

The Market may conduct screenings of all visitors, including customers, staff and delivery personnel, at entrances. Screenings are intended to protect the wellbeing of everyone in the market. Please do not attend the market if you are ill or have traveled out of the country in the last 14 days.

To help customers practice physical distancing, there will be a single point of entry and a one way shopping route. The market has a capacity of 50 shoppers at any given time. Customers are reminded to keep physical distance from each other, merchants and staff.

Montgomery’s Inn Farmers Market asks that customers shop alone or with one other person if they need help carrying groceries. Customers are reminded to practice physical distancing and not to shop in groups or bring family along. Groups of more than two adults are discouraged from coming to the Market.

To help perform physical distancing and stop the spread of COVID-19, customers should take the following steps when shopping for food at the Market:

o Wear a non-medical face mask or face covering

o Remember to sanitize your hands when you enter the Market

o Practice good hygiene and avoid touching your face

o Order in advance for pick up when possible

o Come to the Market with a plan. Make your purchases as quickly & efficiently as possible to reduce wait time for others.

o Maintain a physical distance from other customers and staff

o Use electronic payment options, whenever possible.

o No public washrooms will be available at this time.
