The Village of Islington's 2nd annual 'Paint the Street!' festival is now over* but mural creation will continue to provide 'street theatre' as murals are completed at these sites:
4884 Dundas - wall facing Pharma Plus Theme: Portraits from our Past by Manitoba artist, Sara Weibe, who has had to return home but will be back in August to finish this work
4994 Dundas - west wall of Royal Custom Cleaners (in progress) Theme: The Harold Shipp Mural by artist John Kuna ( Rendition of a Promotion Gone Awry)
4968 Dundas - front of Islington Senior's Centre Theme: Gordon's Dairy by John Kuna (slated for later in the summer)
4986 Dundas - across from the firetruck mural Theme: Local Colour / Mimico Creek in fall by John Kuna (slated for later in the summer)
