About Us

Village of Islington BIA

Established by former City of Etobicoke By-Law 30-1986, the Village of Islington Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a non-profit association and an agency and commission of the City of Toronto.

The BIA has a mandate to beautify and promote the Islington business area. It represents all business and commercial property owners along Dundas Street West between Islington Avenue/Riverbank Drive and Kipling Avenue.

The BIA is run by a volunteer Board of Directors which manages the day to day operations of the association. The Directors are governed by By-Law No. 1, Rules of Procedure for the Board of Management of the Village of Islington Business Improvement Area. A copy of that document is available on request.

Unless otherwise posted, the BOD meets each month at Tapestry, the Art of Seniors Living, 15 Summerland Terrace. Next scheduled meetings will be:

          November 16th

Members of the BIA's current Board of Directors are listed in the Contact section of this website.
